VP Sales Experian Alternative Data Consulting Team (Open to Virtual)

We are seeking an experienced Sales Leader to lead our Alternative Data Consulting team and drive revenue and growth of Experian’s Alternative Data Services including Clarity with existing and new logo accounts. The ideal candidate is an established leader who has a track record of driving high performance on their teams. The candidate should be a strong developer of people, be skilled in the art of negotiation and have a thorough understanding of the credit life cycle for both prime and subprime credit consumers.


The candidate would be responsible for:

• Develop a sales channel plan that defines immediate and long-term strategy for success including penetrating existing markets, entry into new markets and outpacing our competition
• Be responsible for developing and maintaining a high performance team to include: scouting talent, selection, onboarding, developing and motivating the consultant team to drive consistent results and high employee engagement
• Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to consulting team that will foster success, career and personal growth and skill set improvement
• Ability to represent the company in a consistent and professional manner at all times
• Work closely with internal partners to add measurable value for the sale of Alternative Data products
• Support and reinforce the strategic sales principles defined within the sales channel
• Provide strategic direction and tactical insights to improve sales force productivity
• Perform management functions in the area of but not limited to accurate pipeline management, monthly reporting, and channel performance tracking

Required Skills and Experience:
• BS / BA Degree required (MBA preferred)
• Minimum of seven years successful sales leadership experience
• Proven history of exceeding performance targets
• Demonstrated intellectual horsepower through ongoing industry and leadership learning and application
• Deep network of industry executive contacts within the financial services market place
• Understanding of the B2B Marketing and Credit Risk life cycle including  analytics, fraud, decisioning, scoring and collections.
• Strong passion for driving results, securing competitive takeaways/new logo wins
• Ability to establish consultative business relationships with existing and new clients
• Ability to develop, implement and manage key strategic initiatives
• Effectively interact with senior level executives
• Outstanding people management, leadership and developmental skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proven collaboration skills with peers on direct team or other teams in order to create ideas/value for the sales channel
• Excellent organizational, goal setting, analytical and planning skills
• Maintain strong work standards, impeccable integrity and ethics
• Ability to travel +/- 50% of the time
