Vice President, Advanced TV

Experian is seeking an experienced senior sales and business development professional to lead Experian’s Marketing Services Advanced TV vertical. The VP will be at forefront of maximizing Experian’s relationships with key Digital, MVPD & Telecom clients. The ideal candidate will have an innate ability to forge and nurture senior strategic relationships across client and prospect organizations. The VP develops the strategy and associated tactics for identifying and closing new and recurring business opportunities for a select set of clients, and leads a team of Advanced TV sales and client services professionals.
This person will be evangelizing the benefits of convergent TV and serve as a thought leader and spokesperson for Experian at trade events, conferences, and with leading industry analysts. The ideal candidate will not only possess a deep understanding of the tools, platforms, and technologies but also intuit emerging trends within digital Advanced TV, as well as the broader cultural shift taking place in the media business as it becomes data driven.

• Build out and lead the Advanced TV vertical for Experian Marketing Services
• Drive the company’s Advanced TV revenue goals, in collaboration with the strategy, product, delivery and operations teams and other Experian business units as applicable
• Leverage digital and TV experience to forge strong client relationships with key decision makers, solidifying Experian as a true consultative partner for data driven TV advertising.
• Develop & execute account strategies to grow new and recurring revenue generating business with identified clients and a focus in Digital/ OTT/ TV advanced advertising
• Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and demonstrate how Experian’s solutions can help them achieve their business goals.
• Provide the product and development teams with actionable feedback about ways to improve Experian product and solutions based on information collected from client conversations, competitive market intelligence, including competitors & industry trends
• Proactive exploration of potential opportunities to secure, protect and expand Experian’s market position as a key provider against external competition
• Prepare written documentation as required including client presentations, trainings, and senior management presentations.
• Identify, track and manage key performance and operational metrics ensuring on time client delivery and superior service level performance
• Be a recognized TV thought leader and evangelist through keynotes, written pieces, and client pitches and attend key trade and industry events to support Experian and clients


• Minimum of bachelor's degree
• 10-15 years professional sales management experience with MVPDs, Networks, digital media companies, advertisers or advertising agencies.
• 8+ years in a management position.
• Highly analytical professional with a proven track record of success in achieving revenue plans and cultivating client relationships to maintain a closely aligned overall partnership.
• Deep understanding of digital advertising and addressable TV
• Established senior contacts and relationships within the Media/Advanced TV industry.
• A high intellect individual who combines proven sales ability with analytical excellence, superior communication skills (presentation and written)
• Ability to recruit, develop and retain top talent
• Work well within highly collaborative, multidisciplinary teams – displaying proven ability in running a team, controlling timelines and budgets, anticipating issues and working towards solutions to complex problems.
• Board-room presence, team-oriented, customer-focused, industrious, ambitious, and organized
• Ability to communicate with client contacts across multiple levels, both as a reporting and strategic counsel level
• Passion for learning and a strong interest in the technical aspects of Advanced TV, and digital advertising
• Ability to effectively navigate and operate within an internal and external client global matrix environment.
