Experian Data Quality (EDQ) is recruiting! We’re looking for a UX Content Designer (Technical) to join our London office.

The Purpose of Your Role
A great opportunity has arisen within our Global Product Management team. Our mission is to improve the daily lives of data practitioners, and we believe that a superb user experience is a fundamental part of our future success and accomplishing this mission. As such, we are looking for a UX Content Designer (Technical) to play a key role on a critical part of our portfolio.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: 
  • Promoting and applying a user-focussed approach to content/technical writing. 
  • Advocating users’ needs by researching, tracking and analysing content consumption to be able to suggest solutions that are useful, usable and enjoyable. 
  • Contributing to the development of the UX Content strategy as set by the UX Content Team Lead and in line with the Global UX Team overall strategy. 
  • Designing, writing and maintaining end-user content (from UI copy to user guides) for the assigned projects. 
  • Taking ownership of and prioritising your work across multiple simultaneous projects. 
  • Liaising with stakeholders locally as well as in remote offices around the globe. 
  • Planning and delivering work on time and to a high standard. 
  • Understanding our products, the marketplace, business and technical strategies as the background to working on product and marketing requirements.

Who You Are
You will be user-focused putting our customers at the heart of what you do. You will be able to manage, influence and negotiate with multiple stakeholders on multiple projects to ensure that achieve your main two priorities; delivery and improvement. 
As well as this, we’re looking for:
  • A University graduate, or someone with an equivalent qualification or experience. 
  • 4-5 years’ experience as a content designer/UX writer for IT products. 
  • Demonstrable knowledge of defining Information Architecture, creating UI copy, and applying research/analytics results to improve your content. 
  • Experience with authoring and content management tools such as EpiServer and Madcap Flare. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • The ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities and be able to efficiently distil complex requirements. 
  • Experience in estimating effort to meet project deadlines. 
Experience of the below would also help you be successful in this role but is not essential:
  • Experience with integrated SaaS platforms and data-driven software.  
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and iterative design. 
  • Demonstrable interest in current software user assistance trends. 
  • Experience of working in a global environment.
