We have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Pricing Manager to join our UK&I Commercial pricing team. Please note we are accepting applications from candidates wishing to be based in either our Nottingham or London offices.

Reporting to the Director of Pricing, UKI & EMEA, the role of Strategic Pricing Manager focusses on the design of innovative, competitive and value based business to business pricing propositions in collaboration with the UKI & EMEA sales teams. Using a fact based, analytical approach this role will directly contribute to accelerated revenue & margin growth, increase new business win rates and increased long-term customer retention. The successful candidate will closely work with teams across multiple business functions including Strategy, Product, Commercial Management, Solutions, Bid Management Sales.

What is the Strategic Pricing Manager responsible for?

You will lead the development of strategic, value based B-B price propositions for existing & new customers across product lines & customized client solutions. You can expect to be responsible for:
  • Developing disruptive price propositions that facilitate winning against competitive alternatives
  • Life time return on investment value modelling
  • Complex solution pricing
  • Positioning of commercial negotiation levers
  • Quantification of willingness to pay
  • Alignment of price to delivered value
  • Competitive commercial dynamics analysis
What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone with experience in a B2B role, whether this be in corporate finance, pricing, or product/client facing roles.

We're looking for:
  • Experience of value & quantified benefits, Segmentation, lifetime value, differentiated value, B2B pricing 
  • Degree level in Business, Finance, Economics or similar numerate based subject, or relevant experience
  • High degree of business acumen, understands key business, financial, commercial drivers
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Complex project planning
  • Creative and innovative team player with a natural focus on critical business issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, complex data analysis
  • Understands customer centric value & positioning
  • Ability to influence at all levels & quickly gain credibility
  • Strong communicator - ability to communicate across multiple levels of seniority
  • Innovative self-starter - curious and driven to understand data, trends and performance
  • Creative, organized and accurate - able to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail and pragmatic delivery of commitments
  • International B2B exposure would be a bonus!
  • Commercial experience of Data/Software/Banking/Financial Services/Telco
