As a member of the Consumer Information Services (CIS) Strategy & Business Development team, you will be responsible for managing the strategic partnership with FICO. In this role you will understand how FICO scores are used across our industry so that you can make strategic recommendations to our executive leaders.

Key responsibilities for this role:
  • Formulate plan to strategically grow key relationships and industry segments balancing risk and reward
  • Identify, pursue and close strategic partner opportunities as well as manage and grow/diversify existing integration partner relationships
  • Lead key relationships and contract negotiations with targeted partners
  • Establish strong internal relationships with fellow leaders in the company, including sales, product marketing and business leaders who will be crucial in identifying opportunities and target companies
  • Lead cross functional project teams, conduct research, analyze data and translate conclusions into business recommendations
  • Produce persuasive, simple and clear story lines, slides and other deliverables relevant to audiences of all levels
  • Proactively gather intelligence on the competitive landscape, market trends and incorporate information into Experian’s strategic plan and business unit strategy planning cycles
  • Drive the assessment, strategy development and planning associated with new business initiatives, internal investments, and acquisitions opportunities
  • Developing an internal and external network of industry subject matter experts
What your background looks like
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; internationally recognized MBA strongly preferred
  • Experience with and a strong understanding of FICO credit scores
  • Proven functional experience in strategy, consulting, investment banking, corporate development or relevant experience in comparable role
  • Strong expertise in applying project management processes and tools (e.g. project and scope definition, role and responsibility definition, project timeline, communication planning, etc.)
  • Experience successfully negotiating complex agreements.
  • Successful track record of identifying opportunities to reduce costs and increase revenue through innovation and strategic alliances.
  • High level of comfort with financial analysis and complex legal principles.
  • Visionary thinker who is tactful in understanding synergy analysis and accomplishing mutually beneficial objectives.
