Job Requirements and Qualifications
•An advanced degree (MS) preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science or other analytical fields.
•Minimum of 3 years of statistical modeling / data analysis experience in a business setting.
•Minimum of 3 years experience manipulating large datasets for analysis including the ability to understand data integrity, accuracy, and general relationships using SQL or SAS.
•Expert analytical skills to evaluate understand and interpret data from both an internal and client perspective.
•Ability to produce generalized code to aid in the automation of processes.
• Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and analytical results effectively both verbally and in writing to both a technical and non-technical audience.
•Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and Microsoft office products. Experience with distributed computing and/or distributed databases (Hadoop, NoSQL, etc.) a plus.
Experience using Python, R or another programming language, a plus.
•Retail banking analytical experience preferred.
