BROAD FUNCTIONS
  • Lead the accounting team in achieving overall goals, operational efficiency and accuracy, and customer fulfillment.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to elevate the level of accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of staff.
  • Prepare financial accounts, financial statements and compute tax accurately and within stipulated timeframe.
  • Drive corporate activities to achieve targets.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  1. Handle complex jobs:
  2. Book-keeping
  3. Unaudited financial statements
  4. Tax and GST matters, including computation of tax, prepare ECI, perform GST reconciliation, filing of GST and Corporate Tax/Personal Income Tax
  5. Payroll jobs (including CPF submission) and yearly IR8A forms
     
  6. Liaise professionally with clients and relevant authorities on accounting and tax related matters.
     
  7. Ensure that clients’ requests and feedback including queries are handled promptly and effectively.
     
  8. Provide the necessary support to ensure the successful implementation of business initiatives by liaising and co-operating closely with other departments.

  4. Provide the necessary support to ensure the successful implementation of business initiatives by liaising and co-operating closely with other departments.
  5. Lead the accounting team in achieving overall goals, operational efficiency and accuracy, and customer fulfillment. 

 

Skills & qualification:

  • At least a Degree in Accountancy from a recognized university or passed the ACCA Qualification exams, ACCA’s Practical Experience Requirement (PER) and the Professional Ethics module of ACCA.
  • At least 5 years' experience in preparing full sets of accounts and performing/ reviewing tax computations.
  • At least 3 years' experience in leading an accounting team.
