We are looking for a new colleague to join Experian Global Finance Services (GFS). Recently voted as one of the Top 20 Shared Service Organisations by SSON analytics, we are an organisation committed to continuous improvement. Global Finance Services is the fastest growing area of the Experian finance team with c 50% of the Experian Finance roles within this organisation. Global Finance Services is based in 4 main locations: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Sofia, Bulgaria; San Jose, Costa Rica; and Santiago, Chile with satellite offices in Nottingham, UK and Costa Mesa, US.


We are currently looking for a Service & Billing Executive, maternity cover to support our UK Billing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all billing requirements are met on each account along with processing renewal contracts and raising the relevant invoices as well as any account amendments and credit notes.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and update the clients’ profile within the billing system;
  • Performing all the relevant new customer checks and opening new accounts and setting the customer up to access the relevant products;
  • Applying pricing and fees to customers account schedules;
  • Investigating and fixing the root cause of credit notes;
  • Loading invoicing files into the system, checking these and working through any exceptions;
  • Analysing and interpreting requirements to ensure correct actions are met;
  • Adhering to internal and external audit requirements
  • Identifying process or system improvements
  • Updating process documentation as required
  • Liaising with colleagues in the Service and Billing Team and other Stake Holders around Experian
 

Requirements:

  • Relevant higher education degree
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Able to work on own initiative and prioritise daily workload accordingly
  • Accurate processing of information
  • Good attention to detail
  • Manage own workload
  • Able to deliver results
  • Flexibility around busy periods at month end
  • Team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Decision making
  • Client focus

Any of the following abilities and skills will be considered an advantage:

  • Previous experience on a similar role
  • Knowledge of Oracle (desirable)
