This position has the responsibility for delivering Experian Data Quality (EDQ) solutions and services to clients. This includes assisting customers with knowledge of our product and providing best-practice implementation advice, development of bespoke solutions, technical consultancy, bureau services as well as contributing towards the department’s strategy. This will include enhancing the Experian Data Quality footprint in the data quality arena by helping our customers to get the most value from the products they have purchased.

This position will focus predominantly on service delivery with a focus on the data management solutions, Pandora and Aperture Data Studio. The role requires the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and a successful candidate will be working on multiple small, medium and large sized projects, with revenue and utilization targets that need to be met on a monthly basis.

You will work closely with all relevant teams and departments in Experian Data Quality such as Sales, Support, Marketing, Product Management and Global Product Development. You will be based in the Boston, MA office.

Core Responsibilities:
• Provide consultancy and mentoring to our customers on how best to use our products to meet their business requirements.
• Act as the Data lead on any large cross business unit projects to ensure successful delivery for our customers
• Ensure that projects are delivered to scope, in budget and on time while working with a variety of stakeholders.
• Provide delivery of services remotely or on customer site, being able to communicate in a clear and effective manner ensuring clients are kept informed of progress and to make relevant decisions.
• Handle critical and high priority customer requests, while delivering consistently great customer service.
• Help to facilitate the client's technical and functional understanding of Experian Data Quality products and services through documentation, communication, and structured training sessions.
• Work as part of a team to achieve individual and department KPIs and commercial targets.
• Proactively set and manage customers’ expectations regarding functionality, scope, delivery times, and estimates.
• Maintain and improve existing internal knowledgebase.
• Influence and collaborate with Experian product teams through strategy groups, customer feedback, and internal communication mechanisms to facilitate product improvement.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the software/technology industry as a technical consultant or similar role.
• 3-5 years of experience working with data management/BI projects and initiatives such as data quality, data migration, data preparation, data governance, BI, &/or data warehousing.
• Proficiency in managing your own time, calendar and projects.
• Experience working in a customer facing environment, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly tuned organizational skills and ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication (written and oral), influencing and consulting skills.
• Highly experienced in solving technical problems and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Ability to analyze customer data to help identify the most appropriate product or service for their business needs
• Ability to understand customer requirements and tailor the product and consultancy service to meet these requirements.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%
• Eligible to work in the United States

Technical Skills
A successful candidate will also have the following areas of technical knowledge:

• Experience of data processing.
• Experience of data transformation.
• Experience of data manipulation.
• Proficient with database scripting (including SQL) as well as connectivity options via JDBC/ODBC
• Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook.
• An intermediate understanding of coding methods and best practices is preferred, but high proficiency in software development not required.
• An understating of project management methodologies is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of industry leading data quality software tools and services is desirable but not essential.
