Reporting to the General Manager, Decision Analytics, Greater China (GC), the Sales Director will be responsible for driving a highly skilled sales team toward and above revenue goals. You will provide advice and direction, coordinating a strategic approach for the entire region.  You will be responsible for driving a high performance culture. You will have a proven track record in sales leadership and be highly regarded within GC amongst peers and customers alike.

 

As part of the GC Leadership team you will have a close working relationship with the other members of the GC team and will be expected to contribute to the strategic and tactical success of the business.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Organise and motivate sales teams to develop long and short-term sales strategy and conduct implementation to win new accounts and execute business goals in target segments.
  • Drive and manage a performance related culture in the sales environment which includes management of poor performance and recognition of high performers.
  • Enhance skills of sales team to achieve highly effective sales units
  • Coordinate sales teams to ensure the most effective use of sales resources
  • Relationship with key clients and potential clients to ensure that Experian is considered a business partner and to identify business opportunities as they arise.
  • Liaise with key industry partners in and across GC
  • Be a thought leader in the evolution in the use of credit industry
  • Engage with customers at a senior level to evangelise Experian’s credit solutions.
  • Maintain a nurturing team culture to develop future leader
  • 10+ years transaction business BD/sales experiences focusing on FSI, IT solution, or consulting.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to initiate and develop strong working relationships - internal and external
  • Outgoing and dynamic person with strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-discipline, self-motivated & results-oriented
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills (Mandarin & English)
  • Excellent /presentation negotiation skills
  • Frequent travel required
