Experian’s Product Accelerator team, which sits within the Asia Pacific Innovation Hub, are looking for a passionate and experienced person to join the team as an agile Project manager.

Scope of the role will cover

-       Overseeing product delivery across the region – for an existing pipeline of initiatives and products that require planning and build acceleration, and future innovative products

-        Reviewing Global delivery documentation and processes and leading the work to adapt and localize as required

-        Facilitate project estimation, key risks and issues identification, review business requirements

-     Plan and execute build work in a continuous delivery and agile way

-      Working in a fast-paced environment – the Innovation Hub are in start-up mode – so leaning in is required – it is dynamic and changing and requires flexibility but has well defined strategic goals to achieve.

-     Work with multiple personalities and skill sets (think x-men characters), including product strategists, business analysts, technical analysts, data engineers, technical architects, software developers. Work with teams across:

Australia, NZ, India, Japan, China & select countries in SEA region such as Malaysia

Day to day hands on Project Management is required, and working closely with the small in country delivery teams to:

1)      Identify and work through risks and issues with them

2)      Support project delivery teams to achieve milestones – including helping them to achieve and complete deliveries within budget

3)      Share learnings across region to help grow delivery knowledge and experience

4)      Work with global resource and knowledge to identify solutions to APAC issues

5)      Work through identifying appropriate delivery resource across markets to solve specific problems

6)      Development of the customer delivery and application support.

7)      Help kick start project – developing project charters and plans for the delivery teams


Able to investigate issues, identify impacts and route causes and collaborate with multiply stakeholders and drive out pragmatic solutions

Provide input into RFP’s / RFI’s from a Delivery and Support point of view.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking the lead in the following areas:

  • Deliver projects on budget to resource effort estimates as at baseline + approved change requests

  • Clearly manage and report resource overrun by activity and phase

  • Identify, escalate and document in a timely fashion all project changes to scope, schedule, effort and cost

  • Proactively identify risks to the project and implement mitigating actions and deal with issues to reduce project impact

  • Ensure resources delivery project tasks on time or ahead of schedule according to the plan

  • Demonstrate project-to-project improvement in personal efficiency. (ie. Less meetings, document and template re-use reducing project timeline without a reduction in project control outcomes)

  • Optimize project in-flight projects by identifying scheduling and resourcing improvements to achieve project outcomes for reduced effort

  • Maintain a high level of mutual respect and open communication with the client stakeholders at all levels of the project (team, PM and executive sponsors)

  • Complete project reports, financial tracking and resource management deliverables etc. consistently on time to a high level of quality

  • Keep actively engaged and communicate clearly and in a timely fashion with senior stakeholders both internally and externally regarding project status and execution




List the skills, experience, education etc.
  • Strong background and a minimum 5+ project management in business or software development scenario
  • Agile project management experience
  • A broad and deep knowledge and understanding of relevant technologies supporting the solutions
  • Consultative experience and attitude; experience in developing technical solutions
  • Understanding of appropriate technology components.
  • Strong communication skills – both written, oral and presentation in English
  • Experience and ability to lead a project involving other technological competencies
  • Experian product knowledge
  • Able to drive consulting engagements, help designing and running proofs of concepts
  • Hold industry certifications, accreditations or specializations and willingness to maintain and broaden them
  • Team player, performance driven individual& Excellent time-management skills
  • Used to work under tight time pressure, great sense of priority management
  • Retail banking Credit management applications experience
  • Preferably some vendor experience
  • High level of communication and personal presence
  • Theoretical and practical project management knowledge
  • Knowledge of techniques and tools
