An excellent opportunity has arisen within Experian’s BI division for a Product Manager role based in London or Nottingham.
The product team is working on a series of innovative corporate focused products to help engage with small businesses (SMEs) making it easier to provide access to finance. New and developing products will support significant growth within the BI business over the coming years and is a key pillar of our B2B business.
We are looking for a Product Manager to join us as a member of this expanding team and to own the roadmap for our corporate SME products. You will work with other members of the SME team to manage the delivery of your vertical’s roadmap initiatives and help identify new product opportunities. You will be responsible for working with our technical delivery team and our partners to execute the strategic roadmap and deliver on challenging customer and revenue growth targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Working closely with in-house and partner tech teams and UX to deliver integrations and enhancements to the comparison services
  • Work as part of the SME team within a SAFe delivery environment
  • Identify and manage core performance KPIs
  • Supporting the commercial team in identifying opportunities and increasing KPIs
  • Own your vertical’s roadmap and be responsible for the conversion KPIs and features
  • Working with internal partners within Strategy, IT, marketing, compliance, legal and operations to execute product developments
  • Driving the quality of product and experience across the process through deep SME and corporate client empathy as well as understanding of contemporary product and engineering practices
  • Effectively influence senior stakeholders through competence, confidence and charisma
  • Taking products from concept to launch and into operation and scale on our micro-service, AWS based platform
  • Effective management of product owners ensuring clear objectives and goals are set
  • Champion a culture where the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the Experian business.  Ensure that by leading by example, you adhere to all regulatory requirements and apply appropriate controls in the interests of customers.  Through the adoption of a top down approach, demonstrate a culture where all of our people understand their regulatory obligations, including what the fair treatment of customer’s means to them and our organisation.
  • Required:
    • Previous product management experience of 3+ years
    • Agile experience and lean development methodologies
  • Ideal:
    • Working with development teams in different locations
    • Co-ordinating developments across internal teams and third parties
    • SAFe experience
    • Understanding of FCA and GDPR regulation
    • Micro-service, cloud based platform development
    • Knowledge of SMEs and small business lending
    • Product owner and/or technical background
