Product Consultant is responsible for articulating Experian product proposition values in custom solutions. This role leads the functional requirements and solution development for applying Experian product range to satisfy client needs.

This role will : 
  • Work with Business Consultants and Project Managers to understand and analyze client requirements
  • Input and consultancy to business consultants in meeting the Business Requirements via Experian product range
  • Ensure clear documentation of business requirements and traceability matrix on projects
  • Running High Level Design Reviews with Business consultants through to sign-off 
  • Detailed Solution Design and Low Level Design Document (LLD)
  • Issue resolution and product reference point to support the project delivery of completed design
  • Strategic Reviews, Strategy Design Document
  • Work with Technical Consultants to design solution as per client needs
  • Lead Delivery Analyst throughout project lifecycle.
  • Review solution efficiency and continuously improve solution design and development approach
  • Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, and industry and process knowledge in relevant product area
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of marketplace, competitors and industry trends in order to identify new business and marketing opportunities
  • Ensure documentation and knowledge materials are fully compliant and appropriately updated and distributed
  • Respond effectively to product functional questions received via RFP, and provide effort estimation in alignment with Experian SDLC process.
  • Serve as a bridge between business consultants, technical consultants and delivery analysts to ensure common understanding of client requirements. 
  • Present solutions to customers in the form of custom product demonstrations and presentations
  • Provide the "voice of the customer" to Portfolio Support Group, Product Development team  and senior management to ensure solid value propositions for solutions
  • Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. 
  • Works with Project Manager to identify required changes. 
  • Communicates needed changes to development team
  • Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules. 
  • Communicates and applies project standards. 
  • Manages resources in accordance with project schedule. 
  • Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project
  • Assists in the facilitation of team and client meetings. 
  • Delivers informative, well-organized presentations. 
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  • Identifies critical issues with ease. 
  • Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems. 
  • Senior Consultants may be asked to pitch at “C” level
  • Assist the management for new recruitment and candidate interview.

Qualification and Experience

  • Knowledge in Workflow, Strategy Management, Customer Management, Policy Rules Applications, Collection Management and big data solutions
  • Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing (integration, user, and performance), debugging, implementation, and support
  • Sound knowledge in the application of SDLC process for specific project nature
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills, able to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation capabilities. 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years’ delivery or solutions experience gained from within Experian or from a consultancy role in other companies.
  • Strong exposure to the financial services industry, with the benefit of having knowledge of how collections processes work within the industry.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a team lead role
  • Ability to travel
