Strategic Pricing Expert
Corporate FP&A is looking to
add a Pricing Analyst to support our North America Strategic Pricing team. We
are seeking talent with strong analytical skills to produce pricing insights
and metrics. This role will access data
from multiple finance and billing systems to produce meaningful narratives on
pricing performance, benchmarks and profitability. We are looking for an energetic candidate
with strong intellect, the ability to learn quickly, work in a team
environment, communicate well and execute with excellence. The ideal candidate
will have a deep commitment to growth and learning.
This role is will assist in guiding the
pricing strategies of the business. It
will offer insights into how pricing is performing in the market, protect the
business from revenue leakage and ensure a consistent methodology for pricing
is followed.
Produce metric reporting such as price
benchmarking, price realization, opportunity win/loss metrics, and others.
Collaborate with internal partners within Sales/Account
Executives, Pricing Managers, Contracts, Revenue Management and Marketing to
move pricing proposals from inception, to negotiation to implementation.
Provide operational and analytical support
to Strategic Pricing Team with a focus on deal tracking, Sales collaboration,
metrics, inter-company agreements, pricing strategy execution, profit &
lost reporting, comparative pricing & benchmarking.
Analyze and create deal performance
measurements using monthly pricing metrics, revenue attainment and sales
territory data.
Provide product managers with regular
management information, analyzing performance of existing pricing strategies
and making suggestions to maximize revenue
Maintain Strategic Pricing analytical data
set with latest visualization, price information and segmentation insights
Consult with Strategic Pricing Managers on
pricing proposals and monitor implementation of pricing requests.
Collaborate with Product Marketing for new
product development, product pricing and product launch.
Collaborate with Accounting/Billing team for price changes and billing execution
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience in manipulating complex sets of
data to produce easily digestible management information
Prior sales, revenue or financial reporting
experience.
Strong problem solving and analytical
skills.
Good knowledge of consumer credit reporting
preferred
Good oral and written communication skills.
Fluency with English language
Good organizational and project management
skills.
Experience with databases/CRM tools
(Oracle, Salesforce) and data visualisation (Tableau) highly preferred
Proficiency in MS Access, and standard
Office tools
