You will be responsible for supporting the growth of the company by generating new customers. This will be done by making outbound (B2B) cold calls to promote and sell a wide range of Experian Business Express products to non – existing customers, through adopting a needs based selling approach and having the ability to identify additional revenue opportunities to increase customer penetration.

You will also be responsible for recording accurate outbound call history and customer response in full and ensure all call backs are completed on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Responsible for building own database by cold calling businesses in the UK via our internal CRM system, by making a high volume of outbound calls to potential candidates and bypassing gate keepers
  • Accountable for achieving weekly and monthly sales KPI’s, including call stats, in line with the overall business objectives
  • Understand customer’s needs through open conversation and active listening
  • Successfully handle objections whilst remaining professional and polite
  • Ensure compliance throughout the sales process is adhered too and that excellent customer service is delivered at all times in line with FCA Regulations by completing QA score card 
  • Actively contribute to a culture where the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the Experian business.  Take personal responsibility to ensure that you adhere to all regulatory requirements apply appropriate controls in the interests of our customers
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications 
  • Previous experience in an outbound cold calling sales role with proven track record of sales success
  • Ability to approach a new prospect with a professional, open and meaningful proposition
  • Must have a positive, tenacious approach in seeking out new Customers
  • Ability and desire to sell in a consultative style
  • A high degree of self-motivation, ambition and a real drive to succeed 
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy
