Loss Event and Issue Manager
What are we looking for?
Experience in a risk environment
Previous experience within Financial Services preferred
Experience in working within a line 1 Operational Risk function
A strong understanding of Financial and Operational Risk Management and assessment within a regulated environment
The ability to accurately undertake detailed root cause analysis assessments on complex issues and loss events
An understanding to implement effective controls in the provisions of data
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior leaders / stakeholders and gain acceptance, support and commitment across multiple stakeholders
The ability to develop clear, efficient and logical approaches to work
Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent multitasking abilities with proven skills in prioritising both personal workloads and those of others via matrix management Excellent reporting skills with a clear focus on accuracy
Desirable: A track record of problem solving and ability to perform effective root cause analysis on issues and incidents
Comfortable in challenging the current process/way of thinking
