Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) related field or equivalent work experience
  • 7-10 years of experience working in a systems administrator function
  • Experience in OS virtualization and containerization isolation technologies (desired)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills 
  • Experience supporting remote locations is critical 
  • Superb verbal, writing and presentation skills (English)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with internal/external customers, vendors, management etc. in both formal and informal situations 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Advanced leadership skills
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience with ticket tracking software, specifically ServiceNow
  • Excellent skills with Linux operating systems (SuSE Linux Enterprise Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux) 
  • Strong scripting skills/development skills (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.)
  • Experience using Ansible to automate routine task.
