We are currently looking for an Investment Programme Manager to join our Global M&A/Corporate Development team based in London (Victoria).

This is a brand new role with incredible visibility across the Experian business on a global scale. We are looking to double our revenue over the next five years, and so our M&A team and this role will play a pivotal role in achieving this. This role is a great way to kick start a career path to Corporate Strategy, Development, Venture Capital or other assignments.

What is the Investment Programme Manager responsible for?

You will be responsible for building relationships with the Strategy and Corporate Development global teams to ensure their buy-in to the process. You should be comfortable challenging to keep stakeholders on track with meeting deadlines and more broadly keeping the team on track with our deal efforts.

This role is critical as we are already seeing an increase in our deal volumes and therefore you should be knowledgeable around what is happening with deals and going above and beyond where necessary.

You can expect to be responsible for:
  • Attending key deal/team meetings
  • Maintain and manage reporting of acquisition and venture project pipeline, including recommendations for improving and optimizing existing processes
  • Regular tracking of pipeline using Salesforce and creating monthly reports, whilst developing new and insightful metrics
  • Own the process for bi-annual review of strategic priorities for M&A and Venture
  • Streamline document templates and ensure quality of content
  • Maintain master deal calendar and provide visibility to senior executives
  • Support deal approval process (distributing documents, following up actions)
  • Managing relationships and communicating deal milestones with Regional leads, executive leads etc
  • With a brand new roles comes the opportunity to shape and define the position as the role progresses

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is passionate and interested in developing a career within Corporate Strategy/Development or Venture Capital.

Experience in a similar role is advantageous, however candidates from all backgrounds will be considered. We are looking for:
  • Some experience in a corporate environment - within finance, M&A, Corporate Development/Strategy would be a bonus but is not essential
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, with confidence to push back and influence where necessary
  • Expert Excel, Powerpoint and Word skills
  • Strong written/presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and analyse financial information
  • Ability to navigate a broad, global organisation and is comfortable working and building relationships with senior executives
  • Comfortable working across different cultures and time zones
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject would be advantageous but is not essential
Salesforce is a heavily utilised tool across the team and so experience using this would be a bonus, but training will be provided.
