1. ROLE SUMMARY

2. PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Purpose
This role has two core purposes:
  1. To be a key trusted comms advisor to our Transformation team and support a change programme that straddles three key focus areas including Data, Digital and Customer Experience.
  2. To understand the change / transformation journey and develop an engaging communication strategy that is aligned to the UK&I comms approach.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Advise on, and develop, key communication themes and messaging for the transformation agenda, whilst ensuring they link to the overall UK&I regional strategy.
  2. Work in partnership with key members of the Transformation team to ensure our internal messages are managed and joined up with our external communications plans.
  3. Act as the conduit between the transformation agenda and the IC team - in particular the Head of IC.
  4. Maintain and update the Transformation Zoom site on a quarterly basis.
  5. Ensure key transformation messages are fed into the UK&I regional channels as appropriate.
  6. Work with the Transformation team to identify and launch a team of ‘game changers’ in the business.
  7. Evaluate the effectiveness of the transformation communications in driving up engagement scores.
  8. Contribute to the development of a strong collaborative culture within the Corporate Affairs function, which positions Experian UK&I as the best place to work for communication specialists.
 
3. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Extensive experience of working in a business partner capacity
  • A communications and engagement specialist with experience of change management programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a consultancy approach
  • Strategic approach with a focus on the ‘bigger picture’ – taking separate projects and developing a narrative that connects them
  • Proven ability of creating copy on behalf of business leaders
  • Experience of working with strong brand guidelines to deliver aligned internal communication activity
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practice channel strategy
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Ability to operate effectively in a “virtual” team working environment
  • Relevant experience across a range of communications disciplines in a complex matrix structure organisation
  • Outcome-focused
  • Preferably educated to degree standard or equivalent
  • The ideal candidate will feel comfortable in understanding their core role and pushing back on requests which tend to fall outside their remit.
