The role of the Inside Sales Account Manager 2 within Consumer Information Service’s Growth Channel, is to drive Experian client satisfaction and revenue by identifying and supporting sales activities with existing Experian business clients by using telephony and technology. Based in Schaumburg, IL, the Account Manager will consult with client decision makers of all levels to understand and diagnose the organization’s business needs, then develop solutions. 

Key responsibilities to outstanding performance:
  • Design territory coverage, prospecting, and sales strategies
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales revenue quotas of Experian solutions
  • Achieve sales activity and opportunity pipeline metrics/forecasts that support attainment of revenue goals
  • Initiates sales process by prospecting, scheduling appointments, and closing sales within our existing client base.
  • Provides advice about products and services to customers and external business partners
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date customer and opportunity information in Salesforce
  • Implements aggressive sales strategies to maintain and grow revenue within existing book of business
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Undergraduate degree required (BS/BA in business preferred)
  • 2-4 years of sales or financial services sector experience preferred
  • Entrepreneurial attitude
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to learn business and sales concepts quickly through online education, team members and mentoring and coaching
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented and driven to win
  • Financial Services industry knowledge is helpful; e.g. banks, credit unions, collection agencies, mortgage
  • Able to effectively work with a team and collaborative decision-making skills
