The Experian Partner Solutions Implementation team within the Experian Consumer Services business is seeking a talented Client Technical Analyst to join our team.  This role will work closely with all departments to test new product releases from end to end.  Additionally, assessing the ability to rollout the new feature/function against current client implementations, validate bugs, and document process. In this role, consistent proactive/reactive communication is critical to the success of the role and to the team’s success.

In this job you will…

  • Learn the business and understand the work other parts of the organization to complete task assignments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Learn the platform, eventually becoming a SME for all new product configurations
  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) tasks including, but not limited to the validation of use case stories and bugs, client configuration, styling, layout, email trigger and templates, Project/Program Manager or Account Director client requests, OS, browser, mobile and platform-specific testing, end to end testing, and similar activities as directed by the Senior UAT Analyst and/or Lead UAT Analyst)
  • Document bugs, validate use cases and stories, and assist in a variety of other tasks from something as simple as taking a screenshot to something as complex as aiding in finding a solution to a unique client configuration request
  • Communication of testing progress, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders (usually Product, Software Engineering and Application support)
  • Active participation in process improvement initiatives by providing feedback regarding proposed QA/UAT process enhancements/refinements
  • Contribute to team success by continually striving for improvements in process, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Requirements (Knowledge)

  • Minimum of 5 years working in software testing, quality assurance and/or UAT (extra consideration given for those with prior experience working in a SaaS environment)
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript
  • A general understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in using a variety of database and change management software tools/suites (Atlassian JIRA, Confluence)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must be able to execute all tasks with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, but especially written
  • Persistent, “never give up” attitude
  • Meticulously organized and highly adaptable to a non-stop, ever-changing stream of work


“Like to Haves”

  • Prior experience working in a SaaS environment
  • Prior experience writing and/or executing use/test cases
  • College degree in a technology-related field preferred
