Global Sustainability Reporting Manager
Experience and qualifications we're looking for:
Qualifications:
- Minimum degree level /BSc (hons)
- Environment/CR/Sustainability related degree
- Post-graduate degree on a similar area would be highly desirable.
Vocational/professional certification:
- IEMA
- Professional qualification in auditing
- Any other globally recognized qualification associated to any of the CR-related areas of expertise
Experience:
- Expert level knowledge on environment, particularly in the areas outlined below:
- Legislation, frameworks and best practices
- Carbon emissions (inc. scopes)
- Science Based Targets (SBTi)
- Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
- Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
- Carbon reductions initiatives
- Carbon offsetting
- Extensive experience in ESG and non-financial reporting
- Excellent reporting and auditing skills
- Experience managing CR database systems
- Excellent numerical skills and advanced excel skills
- Expert analytical skills (Able to understand data sources and indicators, and identify trends and issues with data)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – demonstrable ability to write, and to communicate effectively with various stakeholders at different levels in the organization
- Influencing skills, leading beyond authority
- Demonstrable ability to manage stakeholders at senior level
- Project management – demonstrable ability to manage projects to deadlines, involving multiple stakeholder and content management
- Good understanding of H&S and knowledge of legislation preferred.
