Introduction

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Pricing Consultant to join the Global Strategic Pricing team.

This is a highly commercial role working globally to drive Experian’s pricing performance and maturity.

Key workstreams include implementing and optimising our CPQ tool, advising on new product pricing strategies, shaping insights using our visualisation solutions and leading the development of AI based solutions to drive our pricing performance.

It’s a complex, exciting and varied role that gives exposure at a senior level across Experian working across geographic and business boundaries.

 

A Unique Opportunity

The main purpose of the role is to drive Experian’s pricing performance, increase the efficiency of the pricing and quoting process and look for opportunities to drive additional revenue and EBIT through intelligent, data led pricing solutions.

The Strategic Pricing Consultant will utilise and promote the very best practice and expertise available to develop and implement pricing strategies, governance frameworks, processes and systems for driving pricing improvements in Experian.

A core component of the role of Strategic Pricing Consultant role is to lead groups of senior Sales, Product and management teams through a strategy development process in order to evolve pricing strategy for a particular business unit, region or GBL, aligned with business strategy and the external market and agree this with respective leadership and executive teams

The successful candidate will be expected to be current with best pricing practices, and technology led solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

             Drive, create and influence development of commercial pricing strategy across a wide range of Experian businesses.

             Own and lead specific program work streams on CPQ implementation.

             Advocate global best practice pricing tools and practices

             Develop and promote business cases for investment in pricing in Experian

             Drive internal collaboration and sharing of best practice.

             Support sales community in application and position of pricing strategy

             Deliver insightful pricing metrics and recommendations.

             Maintain an external perspective of developments in pricing.

What will they need to have for this role i.e. skills and qualifications

             The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and ideally possess a recognised professional qualification in business.

             The candidate will possess a strong grasp of marketing, sales and commercial operations and be financially astute.

             Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.

             A strong delivery focus and drive to succeed

             Strong analytical skills

             Experience with fast-paced and/or larger volume, dynamic, complex operations

             Proven experience in leading international projects

             The role will require business travel
