We’re currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our France and Benelux Finance team. This is a highly visible role which will have significant exposure to senior stakeholders with a varied set of responsibilities as well as broad exposure to areas critical to the financial and strategic success of the cluster.
In this role, you’ll have tremendous opportunity to have an influential role across all elements of the business, and the ability to positively impact performance by supporting major initiatives and business cases.
Key responsibilities
  • Partnering with Market Leadership Team to help them understand their revenue and cost drivers, and pro-actively drive and implement business optimisation / efficiencies.
  • Provide insight into product revenue and product margins.
  • Business Partnering with the Head of Commercial Strategy by ensuring robust Commercial Support is provided to the business across pricing, product, marketing, customer retention and strategic planning.
  • Identify risk and opportunities and work with the business to maximise revenue and productivity towards market initiatives.
  • Promote best practice across the finance streams and teams (Sofia Finance CoE, A&C and SSC) and continuously improve finance processes, drive efficiency and add value to the business.
  • Co-ordinate the market plan, market execution plan and budget processes and ensure key deliverables are met with input from senior stakeholders.
  • Provide high quality advice and support to internal decision makers e.g. bid-review teams, investment cases and productivity metrics.
  • Ensure understanding of value based selling as well as external and competitor factors.

Key experience/skills we’re looking for:
  • Demonstrable experience in a finance function of a large corporate, ideally Plc, in increasingly responsible positions
  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Master’s degree holder with a demonstrable post-qualified experience.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of technical accounting issues – e.g. IFRS15 revenue recognition, capex etc.
  • Operate effectively in a virtual team environment across multiple locations.
  • Presence, gravitas and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Adaptability to change and proven track record of working in and responding positively to a fast paced, matrix organisation
  • Excellent analytical, financial modelling and problem solving skills, an unfaltering attention to detail and is highly logical and numerate
  • Strong drive to understand the commercial drivers of a business
  • Proven ability to present ideas and opinions in a collaborative, credible and influential manner and to make financial information simple and insightful for finance and non-finance decision makers
  • Proactive hands-on attitude that is detail oriented with a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
