  • Support and lead analytical staff in developing robust analytical solutions for diverse clients, primarily in the financial sector – this includes the development of statistical models and ad hoc data analysis
  • Responsible for understanding the requirements of projects and communicating this to analytical staff
  • Ensure that project deliverables are accurate and meet project objectives
  • Question results through applied intelligence and interpret into conclusions and recommendations for clients
  • Participation in pre-sales and sales meetings with clients to present the results of her/his analytics works
  • Plan, organize and complete project work in order to meet team commitments within agreed timescales

Role is based in Rome.

  • Degree in a numerate/mathematics-related subject.
  • Strong technical and analysis skills
  • Passion for devising practical solutions to challenging problems.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and how statistical methodologies are employed in scorecard development.
  • Established track record (at least three to four years) of delivering complex analytical projects.
  • Experience in the implementation of scorecards both in terms of software and strategy.
  • Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
    The following abilities and skills will be considered an advantage:
  • Previous experience in team/project management.
  • Working knowledge of credit risk modelling, advanced analytics modelling and/or regulatory modelling such as Basel, IFRS 9 and how it is applied to the FS Industry
  • Other language skills in addition to English
