Domain Expertise:

• Global knowledge of customer management-related market needs, products, technologies (or at least in one major region), in one or more of the following:
• Marketing (‘Next Best Action’)
• Customer Experience Management and Transformation (NPS)
• Customer Loyalty/Retention, Proactive Credit/Debt Management
• Experience in developing, selecting or deploying decisioning software to solve a range of Customer Management issues (above) in one of the following verticals:
• Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail, Utilities (or similar)
• We’d be especially interested in hearing from you if you’ve worked with organizations of varying sizes and customer management aptitudes; from large corporates, to late stage fintech and mid-market clients, in both the B2B and B2C sectors.

Product & Commercial Functional Experience:

• You hold a degree from a top-tier university [Business, Marketing, Technology are all good specialisms], those with an MBA are preferred
• You’ll have been in a product management role(s) for at least 5 years, spanning the product lifecycle, driven by a clear view of value propositions.
• You aren’t a technical expert, but you are able to work with complex technologies, preferably with experience in software developments (SaaS/hosted/Micro-Services)
• 3+ years of working in an agile commercial strategy and product development is essential. Ideally you will have been through the transition from waterfall to agile working recently.
• Being out in front of customers is your ‘heart-land’; you’ve led market explorations, supported formal sales pitches and presented at industry events.

Leading and Communicating:

• Creating and motivating high performing and engaged teams is your passion; you bring people together, leading teams based on ‘follow-ship’ across a matrix organisation.
• People love to hear you talk; you have a track record of being able to simplify and passionately deliver a bold vision-story & value proposition for clients and internal teams.
• You are confident and credible in front of senior influencers, both internally and externally. Presenting to a CXO is your ‘stage’ and not a chore!
• You enjoy playing a key role in enabling regions to sell, shaping marketing materials, sales enablement, being part of sales pitches, delivering training as the subject matter expert
