Experian Consumer Services is seeking a Data Analyst that will work with our cross functional teams to develop a deep understanding of our customers across all aspects of their journey with the brand. This role will support multi-channel customer marketing and provide insights, analysis and data applications that provide critical support in optimizing strategic marketing decisions and objectives.

Functional responsibilities include developing statistical models to identify patterns and predict customer’s intent; developing customer analytical databases to support insight reporting; evaluating campaign performance to recommend better marketing approaches; and analyzing cross-channel behavior to improve engagement and monetization.

The candidate will be a strategic thinker with technical expertise around data, reporting, and analytical approaches and how they can be applied to improve business decision-making and outcomes. This is a hands-on analytical role in a fast-paced environment.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Work with cross functional partners (CRM, Optimization, Product & Digital Marketing) teams to support ad-hoc analysis, modeling, & reporting primarily focused on performance metrics of profitability of subscription base & lead generation.
• Design and develop statistical models for usage in: Product Recommendations, Ad Targeting, Revenue Optimization, Churn Prediction & other business outcomes.
• Assessing, cleaning, merging & analyzing large datasets from multiple data sources.
• Serve as a support between business needs & data-driven solutions to propose new acquisitions, customer engagement, retention, and win-back strategies.
• Leverage analytical tools to understand end-to-end customer behavior. Conduct pathing analysis to optimize customer experience, e.g. email engagement, mobile app click, golden pathways, conversion analysis, and marketing effectiveness.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing actions, recommend segmentation approaches and deliver actionable insights to improve customer lifetime value.
• Present analytical results & insights to business partners to answer strategic questions & influence business decisions.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications 
• Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or Marketing related quantitative field.
• 3+ years experience with statistical and quantitative analysis, experience with digital marketing and ecommerce strongly preferred.
• Understanding of relational database theory & highly proficient with SQL.
• Knowledge of statistical models & practical experience in predictive model development (Python, R, SAS, etc).
• Capable of accurately joining large data sets from multiple data sources, created complex logic for data cleaning & outlier detecting, and build & refine business rules to validate and monitor the model forecast.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Alteryx to develop real time dashboards.
• Web Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
• Working knowledge of AWS Sagemaker and EMR is a plus.
• Experience with Data ETL processes and API based development is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communicator with demonstrated experience translating analytics findings into business insights in order to influence business stakeholders to drive actionable decisions and optimize business performance.
• Extensive experience in data analysis and story-telling, going beyond the “what” to tell the “why” and “how” within data driven approaches.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in line with business objectives, quickly shifting priorities while adhering to deadlines.
