Responsibilities
Reviews and analyzes subscriber data to ensure compliance to technical specifications, legal requirements and company standards.
Schedules and performs routine data conversion and electronic data transmissions.
Monitors the daily production environment to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of batch jobs
Provides customer support for the import and export of data files from supported platforms. Works with vendors and internal personnel in a variety of functional areas to coordinate problem resolution.
Produces and distributes media, hardware and resource utilization reports. Works with department staff to ensure effective data storage utilization.
Assists more experienced personnel in the testing and upgrading of the mainframe infrastructure.
Assists in software implementation and migration projects.
Identifies and implements methods to improve efficiency in data integrity, data retrieval and utilization.
Verifies format and record count accuracy of uploaded files.
Reviews mainframe extracts for files loaded into the system.
Reviews daily tracking transmittals and maintains spreadsheets on data uploaded into system.
Contacts data contributors via telephone.
Skills
Basic hardware operation skills.
Basic knowledge of PC desktop applications, including spreadsheets.
Basic knowledge of mainframe platforms, ability to read TSO files.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Basic knowledge of consumer credit policies, procedures and regulations.
Basic knowledge of Experian data products and services
