Working in a team environment with sales and marketing, you are responsible for qualifying inbound leads generated by our marketing campaigns. You qualify leads by reaching out to them and identifying their business needs and setting up an appointment for them with our Account Executives. You’ll be in integral part of helping the company build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and grow its revenue.


In this entry level position, you will develop valuable sales skills through structured training program as well as guided interaction with prospective clients, building a solid foundation for your success in future roles at Experian. Successful Business Development Reps will be strongly considered for promotions into roles such as Account Executives and Account Managers.

Major Job Functions

  • Reach out to our marketing leads/ prospective clients by email, social media or phone
  • Identify business opportunities and connect them with account executives
  • Identify client’s needs, understanding the value proposition of Experian’s solutions.
  • Report on the success of campaigns and lead generation activities
  • Accurately enter your activity in our CRM (Salesforce.com)

  • Drive- action oriented, goal oriented, tenacity and perseverance.
  • Effective communication – Ability to effectively communicate product benefits and competitive advantages to prospective clients. Ability to tailor message to client needs and pain points.
  • Persuasion skills – Ability to overcome objections and influence prospective clients to attend an appointment and evaluate Experian product and services.
  • Fast learner- Curiosity and ability to learn new information about solutions and sales processes



Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in sales or marketing a plus.
  • Experience with CRM systems a plus, specifically Salesforce.com
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills a plus
  • We will accept recent college graduate applicants with proven internship or work experience
  • Previous business development experience in a B2B industry is highly desirable.
