We are looking for a new colleague to join Experian Global Finance Services (GFS). Recently voted as one of the Top 20 Shared Service Organisations by SSON analytics, we are committed to continuous improvement. Global Finance Services is the fastest growing area of the Experian finance team with c 50% of the Experian Finance roles within this organisation. Global Finance Services is based in 4 main locations: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Sofia, Bulgaria; San Jose, Costa Rica; and Santiago, Chile with satellite offices in Nottingham, UK and Costa Mesa, US.

 

The person on the role will join the Finance BI team and will work on an international project with our Finance Transformation team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Combine data from different sources and create robust and dynamic financial models based on it

  • Manage and organise data in a structured format to ensure integrity and accuracy

  • Own and create standardised trended analysis, produce dynamic views of data that can cover multiple uses

  • Integrate the financial model from our current ERP into Business Intelligence (BI) systems

  • Produce Dashboard KPI’s & MI and integrate into a BI Tool

  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across all aspects of the financial processes and standardisation across all activities.

  • Influence business performance and forecasting processes

  • Assist with other ad-hoc requests

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills
  • Experience in building financial data models, analysis and visualizations in Excel

  • Experience and knowledge in writing VBA code and building automation solutions

  • Previous accounting experience and understanding of financial principles will be considered a strong advantage

  • Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau or Power BI) would be considered an advantage

  • Being proactive and work independently, with the skill to adapt and drive change where necessary 

  • Ability to influence stakeholders
  • Fluent verbal and written English
