QUALIFICATIONS


• A Juris Doctorate from an accredited university
• Admission to Massachusetts Bar or another state bar
• 1-3 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm or in a corporate legal or contracts department
• High level of comfort in a large complex corporate environment
• Ability to effectively support numerous sales teams with diverse needs and changing priorities
• Excellent contract drafting skills
• Ability to lead a contract negotiation, understanding how to balance key risks and opportunities to reach a mutually acceptable agreement while maintaining a professional decorum and fostering strong internal and external relationships
• Working knowledge of and significant experience negotiating critical contract terms, such as Limitations of Liability, Indemnification, Warranties, Termination, Data Security, and Confidentiality
• Experience aligning contract terms to meet revenue recognition requirements and accounting rules for various types of services, including software and custom development projects
• Ability to communicate substantive content via email in an impactful and concise manner
• Familiarity with FCRA, GLB, UDAAP, GDPR, CCPA, FARs, and HIPPA is desirable
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet competing priorities and/or deadlines
• Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and oral)
• Proven success working directly with and in support of a sales-focused organization
• Demonstrated strong interest in and desire to use and embrace technology
• Excellent and advanced Microsoft Word skills
• Proficient in Adobe products, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Salesforce.com experience preferred, but not required
