API Support Engineer

What your background looks like

  • 3 years Client/Customer service experience in a Corporate Environment
  • 3 years IT Operations/Support experience in Apigee Edge Cloud and On Premises platforms
  • ITIL Certified (Preferable)
  • Intermediate Network Knowledge
  • Intermediate DataPower Knowledge
  • Intermediate Openshift/PaaS Knowledge
  • Intermediate Firewall/WAF Knowledge
  • Experience working with AWS 
  • 3 years experience working with REST APIs and security mechanisms such as OAuth and authorization headers
  • Apigee API Engineer Certified (Preferable)
  • Cloud Architect/Engineer on Apigee (Hybrid) (Preferable)
  • Cloud Architect/Engineer on Apigee (Private Cloud) (Preferable)
  • Developing APIs with Google Cloud's Apigee API Platform (Preferable)
  • Full command of English language (oral and written)
  • Proven documentation skills (Technical writing a plus)
  • Strong verbal and oral communication skills as the role requires working with internal and external Experian clients.
  • Strong people/soft skills and proven ability to network
  • Ability to innovate and drive automation 
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.  
  • Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to change/new strategies within a very short turnaround.
  • Avid and fast learner able to keep up with the latest platforms, technology tools and marketing solutions through partnerships.
  • Proven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employers
  • Must be able to clear the company’s pre-employment screening
