Account Executive-Digital Sales (Financial Services)

Experian Marketing Services Targeting Team is a specialized group of industry experts working as consultants with our partners to execute omnichannel campaigns across display, social, addressable TV, email, direct mail. This position will report directly to the VP of Digital Sales with plenty of opportunities for career growth in big data, technology, ad ops, and product development

The account executive (AE) position will oversee some of our most important relationships in the Experian Marketing Services (EMS) Financial Services vertical. . You will collaborate with the EMS Financial Services sales team and your internal Experian partners to develop and execute comprehensive account plan(s) to over-achieve against aggressive annual revenue / new sales targets. You will work closely with your internal sales partners and the leadership team to develop and manage a robust pipeline within an established vertical client base and new prospects. With direct responsibility for the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, you will develop and nurture strategic relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders. Bringing thought leadership, creative solution design and compelling ROI to each opportunity uncovered, you will lead the effort to position Experian Marketing Services as a true strategic advisor, building long-term partnerships and negotiating multi-year contracts which provide market-differentiating value for our most strategic Financial Services clients.


To summarize, the successful candidate will:

• Identify, aggressively pursue and close new business and renewal opportunities
• Develop and execute prospecting strategies for unsold brands within assigned companies
• Develop new and existing customer relationships by leveraging a consultative sales approach that results in increased sales and customer satisfaction
• Ability to establish consultative business relationships with client C-suite, with great executive presence and ability to compose, position and sell bundled solutions
• Be responsible for sales pipeline, account plan development and budget/goal management
• Perform territory management functions including regular sales reporting and forecasting
• Work closely with Experian Marketing Services analytics, consulting, relationship management, delivery/support and product management to nurture the development of strategic solutions for this market that measurably add client value and position Experian favorably against our competition
• The ability to take your expertise of online advertising technologies and landscape trends and help your clients see the value of Experian data and targeting products
• The ability to up-sell new and cross sell the entire suite of Experian Marketing Services
• Meet or exceed aggressive annual revenue and new contract targets
• Positively represent the company in a professional manner at all times




Qualifications:

The candidate selected will possess a high degree of intrinsic motivation, zest for learning and passion to win, established intellectual horsepower, excellent communication skills and the emotional intelligence required to navigate complex deal structure and secure stakeholder commitment, both internally and externally. We are looking for a true consultative seller with deep market experience, strong drive, natural skills and established relationships. This role requires excellent presentation and communication skills as an evangelist of our Experian Marketing Services brand, company, and products.

• BS / BA Degree required, MBA preferred
• 5-10 years successful sales and/or consulting experience, in direct contributor and/or management capacity, preferably selling direct or to executive level client marketing executives, advertising agency contacts or data / platform partners
• Proven track record with large and mid-size accounts—past success and established relationships
• Track record of growing a business over time, with proven year-over-year goal over-achievement
• Experience with strategic solution selling of large, multifaceted data and analytical engagements
• Known as an expert and thought leader by clients looking to solve business challenges
• Self-starter with ability to think strategically and respond tactically
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented, growing public company with high expectations
• Passion for driving results, ensuring client satisfaction, and securing competitive wins
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational, goal setting, analytical and planning skills
• Ability to develop, implement and manage key strategic initiatives
• Outstanding people management, collaboration, leadership and developmental skills
• Strong work standards, impeccable integrity and ethics
• Willingness to travel
